It was a peaceful, summer day in Australia; Rachel was waiting on the beach in her black bikini for her friend to arrive from his hotel. The previous week, Rachel and her friend Chris had organised a day of fun and relaxing as Chris had come over for a bit of a family get together with his Uncle. But his Uncle had actually moved away without any notice so he didn't know where to go.

Chris stood at the entrance to the beach, standing in his blue t-shirt and red shorts. He looked over at the beautiful scenery before him "Wow…what a view…I wonder if Rachel is here yet?" Chris muttered to himself as he scanned the area to look for Rachel, who had to be somewhere. Rachel then looked over at the entrance and saw Chris standing there; she stood up, modelling her black bikini to the world. "Chris! Over here!! She jumped up and down, not caring who saw her.

An alerted Chris looked over and saw his friend jumping up and down. "Rachel!" He shouted over to her as he ran as fast as he could towards her. The sand brushed against his sandals as he stopped in front of Rachel. "Wow…look at you Rachel. It's so great to see you finally!" He smiled at her, Admiring the friend in front of him. Chris and Rachel had talked to each other over numerous ways and this was the first time they actually could see each other face to face, due to Chris being from the UK.

Rachel blushed a deep red as she looked down, trying to hide her face. "T-Thanks…I didn't know which one to go with but I'm glad you like it." She replied, still trying to hide her face. Chris just chuckled a little as he didn't mean to make her blush so much, but he did think she was cute there. "So…uh…how do you like your stay here then?" Rachel just shook her head and looked up again, her face still blushing a little but she was happy for the nice compliment from Chris.

"This place is great. I never knew the beaches were this amazing." Chris replied as he looked towards the ocean. The waves crashed against their barefeet as Chris looked out towards the vast blue ocean before him. The ocean sparkled with the sun radiating off the surface towards the pair of eyes staring at it.

"I know, its amazing isn't it….?" Rachel smiled back as she joined the gaze toward the ocean. Their peaceful moment was ruined by some kids rushing by shouting about they had an amazing boat ride together with their family, as they ran past the pair of friends. "A boat ride, huh? What are they on about, Rachel?" Chris looked over at Rachel, wondering what exactly the news and excitement was about. Rachel explained that the beach ran its own boat hire service, where people could rent boats for a trip out to the ocean for anyone wanting a swim or a water safari.

The pair agreed that the boat trip would be a nice idea to spend the day and the rushed off towards the docks. The pier was swarmed with lots of people all taking boats out and bringing them back in. "I wonder…if there are any left?" Rachel stood there, being a little worried about whether they'd get to ride in one or not. They walked into a small brown hut, to see a large guy standing behind the counter. "Uh…Excuse me sir. Do you have any boats left for hire?" Chris nervously said to the owner. The owner looked at him with his piercing brown eyes. He was standing there with a sailor outfit, like he was the captain of a large ship in the past and not afraid to show off his status. "Aye, they'd be one left for you 2 to take for a spin." The owner said, his gruff voice bringing a slight shiver down the pair as they stood there. "Are you two planning a swimming trip?" The owner had just pulled out a pair of keys and placed them on the counter.

Chris and Rachel both nodded slowly as they picked up the keys from the desk. "Just be sure to bring her back before the end of the day…Or else!!" The owner slammed his hand on the desk as the pair ran out from the shock of the fist. It took them a few minutes to find the boat they got, but eventually at the end of the pier, they found a small white yacht with a tall brown mast. "This looks like the boat…it looks nice." Rachel smiled as she admired the boat. Chris just nodded his head as he climbed aboard the boat, with Rachel bringing up the rear. The boat rocked gently with the waves brushing the side of the boat, it wasn't enough to make it shake roughly and dangerous but it still was quite a rocking.

The keys were placed into the lock switch and a clicking sound was heard. The small weight holding down the boat in place rose up and the engine roared into life. "Let's hit it!" Chris pushed the button and the boat rushed off into the distance on the great sea. The ocean breeze blowing through Rachel's hair as she watched the scenery rush by her eyes. "Wh-Whoa! Chris! This speed is just like Sonic! THIS IS AWESOME!" Rachel screamed over the speed of the boat. She put her hands in the air, fully enjoying the whole experience, she and Chris love the Sonic series and this was probably the closest they'd get to that experience. After a good distance of speed, they stopped the boat in a quiet small area of coral and cut the engine.

"This looks like a good spot. It's quiet and it's peaceful too." Chris climbed out of the control booth and took his sandals and t-shirt off, leaving him in his red shorts. Rachel turned around and blushed at the sight of Chris in his shorts. "R-Ready when you are, Chris!" Rachel tried to reply with a smile on her face. She had never gone swimming with a guy before, especially someone whom she had a great friendship with. Without hesitation, Chris and Rachel both dived into the crystal sea to explore the coral below them.

The sight that had befallen them was amazing. Coral in all different shapes and colours could be seen as well as the many fish that swam by them. There were big fish, small fish, some with stripes and some with spots. Chris and Rachel just looked over at each and smiled, 'you could only see this many fish in the local Aquarium' they both thought to each other at the same time. After a good hold of breath, they swam back up to the surface to get some more air. "This is great! I never knew a place this beautiful was this close! Thank you Chris!" Rachel shouted as she swam to Chris and hugged him tightly. They were both happy in the sea, the gentle breeze, the waves swaying and…the large shadow swimming towards them?!

Chris and Rachel's eyes lit up in shock as they saw the giant shadow swimming close by. The large shadow swam around them, slowly and looking like it was eyeing them. "W-What on earth is that?!" Chris stared at the large shadow swimming around them, it was huge! Nothing that big was recorded around the shores before but it was there. "I-I don't know…Chris…let's get out of here!" Rachel's face showed a small hint of fear in her eyes as she swam franticly towards the boat. But her splashes just alerted the large creature to break the surface in front of her. Its form revealed to be a large grey whale, its eyes as big as wheels on a monster truck and a body that was probably as huge as Big Ben stacked on top of the Sydney Oprah House, if you placed them both on their sides. "A-A Whale…!! And….its…" Chris tried to say something about its size as he swam to the side of Rachel, grabbing hold of her tightly. Poor Rachel was just frozen with fright as she stared into the giant eyes watching them both. For about 2 minutes, there wasn't any movement from either the pair of friends, or the giant creature, then a loud noise broke the silence as the whale gave a might roar and showed its giant mouth to them both.

Without even a moment's chance to get away, Rachel and Chris felt themselves being pulled into the large cavern in front of them. "I-Its pulling us in!" Chris yelled at the top of his voice as he closed his eyes. His heart started to race as the fear of being trapped was becoming more and more true. Rachel just closed her eyes and buried her head into Chris' chest, not wanting to see their fate either. "This is a nightmare…this is a nightmare…" Her quiet voice couldn't be heard by anyone but herself. But it wasn't a nightmare. It was proven to be real as they disappeared into the mouths inside. As soon as they were in, the whale slammed its mouth shut and dived under the water…leaving the boat in the middle of the ocean.

Inside the whale's mouth, the pair opened their eyes and found themselves sitting on the tongue in the middle of the mouth. The last of the seawater was sent towards the back of the mouth and down the throat. "A-Are we….where I think we are….?" Rachel nervously said, as she looked around her. She could see all of the signs that they were in the mouth, the giant pink soft tongue, and the entrance to the tunnel behind them. "Yeah….I think we are…" Chris hesitantly replied, obviously he didn't want to fill her head with the idea of where they were.

"I…don't want to die!!" She screamed at the top of her voice as saw how close they were to the throat. Chris placed his hands on her shoulders and looked at her. "Rachel…calm down! Panicking isn't going to get us out of here!" Chris replied as calm as he could. He was scared himself, but he was right. Using his hand, he wiped the tears streaming down Rachel's eyes as he gave a gentle smile to her. Rachel slowly nodded her head as she managed to get her breath back. "Y-Your right…Sorry Chris." Her voice still showing hints that she was scared, but it was natural to be when inside a mouth.

They both stood up and stared towards the back of the mouth. The entrance of the throat was waiting for them both, as well as the place that was at the bottom of it. "Hopefully…we can get out before he gets hungry for us." Chris nervously said as he held Rachel's hand tightly. Rachel slowly nodded her head again as they both looked over the edge of the throat. Nothing could be seen except just some darkness below and the sound of the water slushing around the stomach at the bottom. "Don't let go…Rachel…" His grip on her hand tightened again making sure not let go. Rachel just blushed a little as she did the same thing. "I wont…I pro-" Her words were cut off as the tongue suddenly started to flick and sending the pair over the throat's edge. They both screamed and held to each other tightly as they began their decent down the dark pink throat.

Slipping and sliding down the throat for what seemed like an eternity, they eventually landed inside a large dark pink cavern filled with seawater, the whale's stomach. The throat closed up behind them leaving them stuck in there. The water the whale has swallowed was all there still, it was about waist level deep, but fortunately there was some stomach floor that wasn't in the water, meaning if the acid did come in it wouldn't hurt them. Rachel rubbed her head gently, due to the fall had made her bang her head a little. Chris stood up on the little space of land they had and looked around their new surroundings. "I…can't believe it….we actually are….inside a whale." Chris couldn't believe his eyes as he slowly caught his breath from the trip they just took. The sight of a ship wreck, the rip cage and the whale's heartbeat were the signs to say they were inside that stomach and it wasn't a nightmare.

"T-This….can't be the end…I don't want to die inside a stomach…" Rachel's eyes started to shed tears by the second. She was scared beyond any doubt and started to lose her confidence in herself and her friend getting out of this alive. "C-Chris…we are going to die….aren't we…?" her voice starting to show signs of her fear as she wrapped her arms tightly around Chris. She didn't want to let go of the only protection she had right now. Chris just stroked her hair gently, trying to calm her down as best as he could. He wrapped his arms just as tightly around her as the heartbeat of the whale echoes throughout the stomach. "Rachel, come on….snap out of it…we can get out of this! We Won't DIE!!" Chris exploded with energy as he stared into her eyes, trying to show that what he was saying was true. Rachel just gasped a little as she heard Chris' response, she then gave Chris a gentle kiss on the cheek as she continued to hug him tightly. "Chris….T-Thank you….please…don't let go" Rachel replied softly, she was happy that one of her great friends was there with her. They both closed their eyes as their embrace couldn't be broken by even the mightiest sword, as they weren't going to let go. Whatever was going to happen to them, they would be together side by side 'til the very end…whatever it was going to be.

Wether it was going to be staying inside the whale forever, or if they would get out again...Chris and Rachel weren't going to abandon each ever.
